The European DIGITAL SME Alliance operates the website https://www.greendigitalcoalition.eu on behalf of the European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC) Pilot Project Consortium. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. We use your personal information only for providing and improving the website. This policy is applicable to personal data processed by the EGDC, and it applies both to the website and to our processing of personal data in general.
Data protection and privacy are very important for the EGDC, and we do everything we can to minimise the amount of data we collect and process. We only process data of individuals who have a direct relationship with the EGDC (such as our members, subscribers of our newsletter, etc.). In addition to this policy, EGDC’s Data Controller (see below) is registered and located in Belgium, therefore, we also comply with all the policies under Belgian and European law.

While using our website or subscribing to our services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, as well as to provide you with the best quality of services. Personal identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, e-mail address, etc. (“Personal Information”). If you subscribe to the EGDC newsletter and press releases, we use your personal information to contact you with our newsletters or press releases. If you choose to participate in one of our EGDC Pilot Project events, you will need to register using our Event Registration Form. We collect and process your e-mail address and your name to register you to the event, verify the registrants, contact you on issues related to the event you have registered in, send you material/content related to the event and/or ask for your feedback.
Any additional personal data we may ask you to disclose, such as your country of residence, and/or your employer, will be collected and processed, if necessary, in order for us to ensure that the event will reflect the needs and meet the expectations of the registered audience.
You may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies through our website by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all popular Internet browsers. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be entirely usable.
The website of the controller contains information that enables a quick electronic contact to our organisation, as well as direct communication with us, which also includes a general address of the so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis to the data controller are stored for the purpose of processing or contacting you. There is no transfer of this personal data to third parties.
