EGDC Advisory Board established to support the Coalition with expertise

The European Green Digital Coalition Pilot Project has established an Advisory Board to support its work and bring additional expertise and viewpoints to the table. The Advisory Board will have a key role within the work of the Pilot Project, by providing regular feedback and guidance on the methodological outputs, namely:

  • The development of Key Performance indicators (KPI), to monitor investment in the development and deployment of Green Digital Solutions – or GDS (Action 1 of the EGDC Declaration)
  • The development of case calculators, sectorial guidance and deployment guidelines. Based on at 18 selected digital solutions covering key identified sectors (Energy, Transport, Construction/buildings, Manufacturing, Agriculture and Smart Cities), the project will develop a generic methodology framework as well as a set of sector specific methodologies. The methodologies will be reviewed and extrapolated across the sectors to develop an overall guidance for ICT. Subsequently, deployment guidelines and recommendations will be developed for adoption of these solutions across sectors.

To this end, the EGDC Pilot Project Consortium, together with the European Commission, has nominated 9 global experts to join the EGDC Advisory Board, which is comprised of scientific experts, industry and research representatives.

The composition of the Board is available on the Advisory Board page.
