As part of the EGDC EP (European Parliament) Pilot Project, deployment guidelines are being developed to help all stakeholders maximise the emission-saving potential of digital solutions *
The guidelines will provide recommendations for developers/providers and buyers/users of digital solutions, as well as investors and policy makers.
The EGDC Pilot Project is currently gathering insights to provide the most useful content for these guidelines. To ensure that priorities and needs are addressed and reflected, we have developed a short questionnaire to compile key insights from key stakeholders. As a following step, the EGDC will organise a workshop for each of the priority sectors. Learn more via our page on deployment guidelines.
* Digital solutions with the potential to enable a positive net carbon impact are technologies that can help users avoid or reduce climate-harming greenhouse gas emissions, usually through a reduction or avoidance of resource use (e.g. fuel, electricity, raw materials, etc.).
Examples of such digital solutions include a building management system that optimises cooling and heating systems reducing energy consumption, or fleet management systems that help optimise driving routes and behaviours which in turn reduce fuel consumption.
We’d appreciate it if you could provide insights about your experience with such digital solutions or your expectations via our online questionnaire below or download the offline version here.
